Listen and whisper

Do you want to train your employees? This is possible with Listen and Whisper. To do this, the user you want to listen in must be given permissions to listen in.

To do this, go to “Extentions” and then click on the user where the permissions should be added. Tick the boxes “Can Barge”, “lister of whisper” via the Rights section. Now this user has the rights and can therefore be listened in.

To listen in on a conversation, go to the options in the 3CX Client via the three blue circles at the top right. Then select the receptionist view. Within the receptionist view, all ongoing calls are shown. By selecting an ongoing conversation via a right-click, the option “listen” can be selected. You can also choose to whisper to the employee or break in.

Live chat feature

In addition, the 3CX call center features the possibility to chat live with visitors of your website. On average, a visitor spends only 15 seconds on a website. Most websites have a bounce rate, the percentage of website visitors who leave the website after seeing just one page, of 20% to 40%. This is a whole lot of missed opportunities. That’s why 3CX offers a live chat feature so that website visitors can chat or call an agent directly. And if a chat isn’t good enough, they can easily extend the conversation to a phone or video call.
