3CX Salesforce CRM integration

Using 3CX’s CRM integration, you’ll always know who’s calling you before you pick up the phone. This saves your employees time and impresses customers. You can speak directly to your customers personally and thus give them the feeling that you know them. Integrate your CRM or help desk system with 3CX. Keep customer information handy and see when the customer last called you and who they spoke to. With the 3CX CRM API you can easily connect 3CX to CRM systems such as Salesforce.
If Salesforce is linked to 3CX, you can link caller IDs to accounts in your CRM system. In this way, the caller’s name is displayed when a call is made.
Link salesforce to 3CX
– Log in to your Salesforce account.
– Tap the gear icon at the top right and select ‘setup’.
– Via ‘platform tools’ on the left you go to “apps” and then to “app manager”.
– Tap on “new connected app” to add a new app.
– Give the app a name and enter an email address.
– Scroll down to API and check “enable oAuth Settings”
– In the “Callback URL” field, enter the URL you use to access your 3CX Management Console, followed by /api/oauth2crm.
– Click on the following OAuth Scopes and press add: Access and manager your data (api), sccess your basic information, access to your unique identifier (OpenID), Full Access, Perform requests on you behalf at any time, provide access to your data via the Web.
– Save by pressing “Save”.
– Find your newly created app in the “Manage Connected Apps” list and press “view”.
– Copy the Consumer Key and Consumer Secret that you will find under API.
– Then log in to the 3CX Management Console and go to “CRM integration” via Settings.
– Select SalesforceV2 at the “server side” if you want to choose a CRM system.
– Fill in the Consumer Key and Consumer Secret at “General Configuration”.
– Press “Authorize” to start the authorization process, after which Salesforce is linked to 3CX.
Auto-create contacts
If an unknown number calls, it can easily be saved as a new contact.
– Login to the 3CX Management Console.
– Go to “CRM integration” via Settings on the left side.
– Check “Enable Contact Creation” to create new contacts in the CRM system when there is an incoming call from an unknown number.
Call journaling
Log calls and view call history:
– Login to the 3CX Management Console.
– Go to CRM integration via Settings.
– Check “Enable Call Journaling”.
